Description

The Operations Manager, Recruitment shapes the employee experience for the Metrosion Talent Network comprised of freelance product managers, software engineers, and designers from 40+ countries. Your focus will be on designing how we scale our Talent Network as well as directly improving our process of creating high-performance freelance teams to deliver our software projects successfully.  

Ideal candidates for this position will analytically examine how to rapidly recruit and scale a network of software professionals, assess software talent across a host of roles ranging from Product Manager to DevOps Engineer and determine how to improve the creation of software project teams. This unique position requires a jack/jill-of-all-trades able to navigate complex situations and roll up your sleeves to lead by example and positively impact our success in a process-oriented and data-driven fashion. Responsibilities 

 

  • Owning the recruitment and hiring practices for all freelance software roles on the Metrosion Talent Network

  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System for all Metrosion Talent Network roles using metrics to improve the overall candidate experience and increase the quality of our hires through quality interviews and assessments

  • Identify key levers for scaling the Talent Network and experiment with various growth channels to acquire talent  

  • Create and implement hiring strategies as well as recruitment playbooks and processes that attract and retain diverse talent at scale

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HQ Delivery, Staffing, and Sales Teams to improve the quality of hiring practices based on feedback from project delivery outcomes

  • Collaborate with HQ Delivery, Staffing, and Sales Teams to evaluate roles and necessary skills on the Talent Network

  • Ensure that the capacity of roles on the Talent Network meet forecasted resourcing requirements based on sales pipeline forecasts

  • Create dashboards and reports to regularly communicate results and monitor key metrics around hiring efficiency, hiring effectiveness and capacity management

  • Research the freelancer job market with an eye towards determining how to turn Metrosion into a viable career path for freelance software professionals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in program management or operational roles

  • Experience in technical role recruitment such as Software Engineers or Product Managers

  • Familiarity with user acquisition or growth techniques for recruiting freelance professionals at scale

  • Strong project management, flawless execution, and clear communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while navigating complex scenarios and multiple stakeholders at HQ and on the Talent Network

  • Improve core metrics in a data-driven and process-oriented manner
